What counts as a credit?+
One photo humanize = 1 credit. One short video humanize = 2 credits. Batches of 10+ photos drop to 0.5 credits per image. Text humanize costs 0.5 (light), 1 (standard), or 1.5 (aggressive) credits per run. The detector runs on its own weekly scan allowance (Free 10 / Pro 200 / Studio unlimited), separate from humanize credits.
When do credits reset?+
Every Monday at 00:00 UTC, weekly. Unused credits do not roll over — the model is designed for predictable, sustainable throughput rather than hoarding.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?+
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and the new credit pool is available right away. Stripe prorates the price difference automatically through the billing portal.
What happens if I cancel?+
You keep Pro or Studio access until your current billing period ends — you don't lose paid time. After the period, the account drops to Free automatically.
Is there a free trial for Pro or Studio?+
The Free tier (3 credits / week) acts as the trial. It runs the same humanize engine and the same detector with no watermark on outputs — just a weekly cap, the generic camera profile, and light-mode text humanizer. Pro unlocks all camera profiles, advanced controls, and standard + aggressive text modes.
Do you store my images or videos?+
Image and video bytes stay in the browser. Images use TypeScript, Canvas and Web Workers; video uses ffmpeg.wasm. The backend stores metadata-only quota records, not the media itself.
What if a platform updates its detector?+
We track public classifiers (Hive, Optic, Illuminarty, Sensity, plus platform-side detectors) continuously. Pipeline updates ship to all paid tiers automatically — no version migrations.
Can I get a refund?+
Subscription payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends. Reach out if there was a billing error and we'll sort it.
