Detectors don't readyour meaning.
They measure rhythm. Sentence variance, word predictability, punctuation cadence. AI writes too cleanly — every sentence the same shape. Text Humanizer rebuilds the messy organic rhythm of real writing.

Burstiness, perplexity, sentence-length variance — the math of how prose flows.
Token-level probability under GPT, vocabulary range, repeated phrasing patterns.
Punctuation density, contraction rate, sentence-opener distribution, comma cadence.
Six layers,one human voice.
Each layer targets a specific signal detectors weight in their verdict. Combined, they reproduce the natural inconsistency of human writing.
Burstiness Restoration
GPT and Claude write at flatline rhythm — every sentence the same length, the same cadence. We restore natural variance: short punches next to long flowing thoughts, exactly how humans actually write.
Perplexity Lift
Detectors flag text whose word choices are too statistically predictable. Our phrase-replacement layer swaps in less probable, more human alternatives without changing meaning.
Sentence Restructuring
AI loves a tidy subject-verb-object structure. We rewrite with subordinate clauses, fronted adverbials, parenthetical asides — the messy syntax humans default to.
Contractions & Voice
Real writing breathes: don't, you'll, it's, that's. Plus contextual voice shifts — formal where it matters, casual where it doesn't. AI text is uniformly stiff.
Multi-Layer Pipeline
Punctuation rebalancing, contraction injection, phrase replacement, sentence restructuring, micro-typo plausibility — applied in deterministic order, calibrated to your input.
Browser-Only Privacy
Every layer runs locally in your browser. Your text never reaches our servers, never trains a model, never lands in a log. Close the tab and it's gone.

Five passes,deterministic order.
Layers run in fixed sequence inside a Web Worker. Public layers are listed; internal refinement passes stay reserved.

What flipsin the rewrite.
Every signal text-detection engines weight in their verdict, before and after a Text Humanizer pass.
| Signal | AI text | After Text Humanizer |
|---|---|---|
| Burstiness (sentence variance) | Flat, uniform | Naturally varied |
| Perplexity (word predictability) | Low — too predictable | Lifted to human range |
| Punctuation rhythm | Mechanical | Organic cadence |
| Contraction frequency | Sparse / absent | Contextually present |
| Sentence opener variety | Repetitive | Mixed openers |
| Lexical diversity (TTR) | Recycled vocabulary | Expanded range |
The rhythmno LLM owns.
Burstiness is the variance in sentence length and complexity across a paragraph. Humans write in waves — a long thought, a short punch, a meandering aside. Language models flatten everything to a comfortable mid-length average.
Text Humanizer measures your input's burstiness score, identifies the flat sections, and restructures them into the natural peaks and troughs of human writing — without losing a single argument.

Paste text
Drop any AI-generated paragraph, essay or article into the editor — up to thousands of words at once.
Local rewrite
Five layers run in your browser. Typical: under one second per thousand words.
Human export
Copy the result or download it. Side-by-side diff shows exactly what changed and why.
Built for peoplewho write at scale.
Pass Turnitin and GPTZero on AI-assisted essays and research drafts.
Publish AI-drafted articles without Originality.ai flagging the SERP.
Scale long-form output while keeping a recognisable human voice.
Pitch client decks and landing copy that pass agency AI screens.
Programmatic SEO content that Google's helpful-content systems treat as authentic.
Cold sequences that don't trip Gmail and Outlook AI-text classifiers.
English & German,structurally universal.
Native phrase dictionaries cover English (en-US, en-GB) and German (de-DE) with thousands of context-aware substitutions. Burstiness, sentence restructuring and punctuation layers operate on the underlying syntax tree — they work cleanly across French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish.
How perplexity is calculatedYour textnever leaves your browser.
We built Text Humanizer browser-only on purpose. No upload buckets to subpoena, no temp logs to forget, no model silently training on your draft.
Text stays in browser memory. We literally cannot see it.
Processing runs in a sandboxed worker thread, off the main UI.
We have no dataset, because we have no text.
Nothing persists. Refresh and it's gone.
Questions,answered.
Is humanizing AI text legal?
Yes. You wrote the prompt, you own the output, and you're allowed to edit it. Humanizing your own text is identical in legal status to manually rewriting it. Always follow the policies of the platform or institution you submit to.
Will the meaning of my text change?
No. The pipeline only touches surface features — sentence structure, word choice, punctuation, contractions. The semantic content, factual claims and overall argument stay intact. You can verify with the side-by-side diff.
Which AI text detectors does it bypass?
GPTZero, Originality.ai, Turnitin AI, Copyleaks, Winston AI, Sapling, Writer.com, ZeroGPT and ContentAtScale. Detector landscape changes weekly — we continuously test and tune against new releases.
Does it work for languages other than English?
Yes. English and German are first-class with native phrase dictionaries. The structural layers (burstiness, sentence restructuring, punctuation) work language-agnostically across most Latin-script languages.
Is anything sent to your servers?
Nothing. The full pipeline is a browser Web Worker. We only contact our backend to log a quota event — no text content, no character count of meaningful chunks, just a tick.
What's the difference between Free and Pro on text?
Free runs the deterministic light mode (0.5 credits per run, capped at 3 credits / week). Pro and Studio unlock the standard and aggressive modes — deeper sentence restructuring, broader phrase swaps and stronger burstiness lift — at 1 and 1.5 credits per run. The streaming engine handles long inputs on every tier.
Will it pass Turnitin?
In our internal benchmarks, humanized text drops below the AI-detection threshold on Turnitin, GPTZero and Originality across most academic prompts. We don't promise 100 % evasion — detection thresholds shift, and you should always proofread.
How is this different from rewriting it myself?
It's the same kind of edit you'd do manually — varying rhythm, adding contractions, swapping predictable words — but applied consistently across thousands of words in seconds, with a measurable burstiness score showing the lift.
